There are three phases in this effort to renovate the downtown Omaha and Council Bluffs park system to reconnect the community to the Missouri River – Gene Leahy Mall, Heartland of America Park, and Lewis and Clark Landing. For each of the three areas, Pine & Swallow is contributing soils expertise to support high use and passive-use lawns, paved promenades and plazas, street trees, bioretention areas, and garden beds to aid the transformation of the area to an expansive civic space. Pine & Swallow is also providing construction phase consulting services.
