The Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden Expansion at the New Orleans Museum of Art is a 6.5-acre sculpture garden within City Park that includes a network of paths and pedestrian bridges around a restored pond, an amphitheater, and settings for 25+ sculptural works. Pine & Swallow provided soil design for the various proposed site conditions, ranging from high-use lawn areas to aquatic plantings. Pine & Swallow also designed a strategy for restoration and enhancement of soils near existing mature Live Oaks to allow the use of those areas.
