This new urban park sits on nearly 5-acres in the city’s cultural arts district in the heart of historic downtown Greensboro. The park’s construction coincided with the renovation of adjoining streets to create an integrated landscape. Pine & Swallow began the design phase consulting by assessing existing information and conditions and recommending strategies for horticultural soils. Pine & Swallow designed soils for the various planting environments including for an event lawn, a children’s garden play area, a dog park, terraces, and plazas and provided construction phase support.
