The 26-acre Hudson Rail Yards on the west side of Manhattan has been transformed into a $20 billion office retail, residential, and cultural development called Hudson Yards. The project includes a major civic plaza at the northern terminus of the High Line that was built on a platform that spans the rail yards. Pine & Swallow worked with the landscape architect to create appropriate soil environments for major plantings including mitigation of toxic high heat soil conditions.
