Corktown Common, an 18-acre park formerly known as Don River Park, is a focal point for a major downtown Toronto redevelopment and included construction of new wetland systems, athletic field, flood protection levees and a wet meadow. Pine & Swallow developed strategies to treat both stormwater and captured underdrainage water with treatment wetlands. Pine & Swallow interpreted and complied with stringent environmental regulations that governed all soil chemistry stipulations.
