Central Wharf Plaza creates a connection between Boston’s Rose Kennedy Greenway and Boston Harbor at the Aquarium. Twenty-six 12-inch oaks were planted in sand-based structural soil, designed by Pine & Swallow, to provide structural support for cobblestone paving and horticultural support for the plantings. A stormwater system, also designed by Pine & Swallow collects rainwater and distributes it to the trees.
